《The Ringer》记者Howard Beck日前报导称，一位NBA高层透露：「今年夏天，关注Ja Morant的动向。」这让外界揣测，如果灰熊队再次在季后赛表现不佳，他们可能考虑交易Ja Morant。
对于这报导，灰熊队总经理Zach Kleiman迅速驳斥，并明确表示球队不会交易Morant。
