根据Shams Charania报导指出，名人堂成员、前活塞篮球营运总裁Joe Dumars正在与纽奥良鹈鹕队敲定协议，即将成为球队的新任篮球营运总裁。
Dumars先前曾在2000年至2014年担任底特律活塞队的篮球营运总裁，并成功打造了2004年那支夺冠的铁血活塞队，但后续球队在夺冠成员相继离队后，Dumars后来在2014年离开该职务。
本次Dumars来到鹈鹕也是他回归家乡路易斯安那州工作，而鹈鹕队后续的操盘也将值得关注。
