昨日灰狼击败爵士，正式以西区第六名挺进季后赛，而赛后Rudy Gobert在採访中谈到队友Anthony Edwards势必会受到包夹或是换防，自己需要打出宰制力才能成为球队争取胜利的关键。
当被问及首轮季后赛对阵湖人的赛事中，自己在进攻端发挥的重要性问题时，Rudy Gobert在採访中说道：
「我们知道很多球队会对Anthony Edwards採取包夹或者进行换防。不管对手怎么打，我都必须统治比赛。无论是保护篮板、做出正确的传球选择，还是在篮下高效终结，这些都会是我们取胜的关键。」
