费城76人当家中锋Joel Embiid自进入NBA以来便效力于76人，并在本季开始前签下3年超过1.9亿美元的延长合约，在今夏巴黎奥运期间，溜马球星Tyrese Haliburton与Embiid同为美国队成员，并试图在更衣室内向Embiid进行「招募」。
「你会来印第安纳吗？来吧！」Haliburton在Netflix纪录片《Court of Gold》中向Embiid提议。
Embiid毫不犹豫地回绝道：「我可能会想去印第安纳 骗你的！这辈子都不会，我宁愿退休。」
Haliburton随后邀请Embiid下次来印第安纳作客时到他家吃饭一下，感受一下当地的氛围，试图改变他的看法，但Embiid显然没有动摇。
